Raw Kale Chips
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch of Organic curly, green kale, washed, large stems removed, torn into bite size pieces
- 1 cup cashews, (soaked 2 hours or overnight)
- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 Tbp. nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp. Himalayan pink crystal salt (use more or less to taste)
- 1 tsp of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Soak cashews overnight or for at least 2 hours, drain all the water out.
- 2. Put all ingredients (EXCEPT KALE) into a Vitamix or food processor. Blend until smooth.
- 3. Using your hands, massage creamy mixture onto kale pieces getting it inside the kale curls.
- 4. Dehydrate at overnight at 105 overnight.
- 5. Flip the kale and slide onto mesh screens and dehydrate until kale is very crispy.
