There is a misconception that it is difficult to eat farm fresh produce and meat year round. As many farmers markets close in the winter, think they have to wait till springtime to enjoy their favorite farm fresh foods again. Although produce and meat inventory is lower in the winter, many farmers prepare for this by stocking up on meat in the fall and growing produce that can withstand the colder winter months. Many local and regional farmers have weekly scheduled delivery stops in and around the metro Atlanta area to make sure you are able to buy and eat organic farm fresh foods throughout the year.

Heritage Farm – local pasture raised *organic beef, chicken, pork and produce. They deliver all around the metro Atlanta and north Fulton area. In the spring, summer and fall you can purchase their meats and produce at the Sandy Springs Farmers Market and the Buckhead/Peachtree Road Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. West Wind Farms – regional (out of TN) pasture raised *organic beef, chicken, eggs, pork, turkey, sausages and deli meats. They make monthly deliveries in the winter and in the spring, summer and fall you can purchase their products at the Brookhaven Farmers market on Saturday mornings. Farm Mobile – The Farm Mobile is a mobile farmers market that parks outside stores and coffee shops around the Atlanta area. Step inside this truck and you will find all the wonderful produce, baked goods, jams, honey, and organic meats that you see at farmers markets. The Farm Mobile is run by Riverview Farms and makes at least 4 stops a week. Check them out on facebook to find out where they will be each week.
The Flour Artisan – The Flour Artisan is run by a wonderful German woman who has applied generations of teachings to create the best quality breads.
